Rapid Care Responder South Dublin/Wicklow
Hibernia Home Care are actively looking to hire a Rapid Care Responder for the Dublin South/Wicklow area providing rapid response care to vulnerable adults in their own homes.
This is a full-time fixed salary position up to €35,000!

Working as a Rapid Care Responder you will be rostered to work 7/14 days (3 days one week and 4 days the next week) on a 12-hour basis providing care cover across our catchment area in Kildare/Dublin South West.
To be considered for the Role you must have:
QQI5 Major Award in Healthcare (Care Skills and Care of the Older Person + substantial experience)
2+ Years of Home Care Experience
Full Clean Drivers Licence Category B
Ability to pass Garda Vetting
Available for 12 hour shifts
The main roles and responsibilities of the Rapid Care Responder are:
Provide support and guidance to the Healthcare Assistants.
Provide direct client care.
Cover clients for annual leave/sick leave
Assist with rostering and line management of the Health Care Assistants when on call
Determine the named carers in relation to individual clients.
Be able to assist in delivery of Care Plans to meet the complex needs of clients.
Be responsible for providing accurate records of information required by Hibernia Home Care.
Be able to effectively communicate with team members, and support working relationships with other health professionals along with office staff.
Support new staff and their integration within the team.
Carry out assigned and delegated tasks involving direct care and all activities of daily living under the direction from the Client Care Coordinator
Participate in care planning and alert office regarding any changes in the physical and mental state of the client.
Undertake such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Client Care Coordinator
Monitor and provide appropriate intimate care for clients in accordance with their individual care plans and in accordance with Hibernia Home Care policy and procedure.
Advocate for the rights of clients and ensure that their voice is heard within Hibernia Home Care.
Be aware of the confidential nature of the work and in particular, the right of clients to confidentiality. To this end you will not discuss workings of Hibernia Home Care or its clients with people outside Hibernia Home Care
Attend training courses both in-house and at other locations to meet and enhance the service being provided by Hibernia Home Care
